Blipping in Bangor

There's a parade of interesting and unique electronic music in Bangor this weekend. Blipfonica Live combines 8-channel surround sound Electroacoustic music and a 20-strong string and percussion ensemble... in a Welsh Victorian church.

Playing will be Blipfonica artists Chaparral Andrew Hodges, Ed Wright and Bright Anti-Star, with visual artists David Makin and Michelle Sutton in the spotlight too. Founder Emma Louis doesn't hold back on the press release: "I know I will probably cry with the power of it all."

We recently covered Emma and Blipfonica in our article, Coastal Blip. Further information on the event is available on Blipfonica's MySpace.
