Ars Electronica has partnered with twelve other art and culture organisations across the globe to create the European ARTificial Intelligence Lab.
The thirteen organisations will offer artists the opportunity to develop and realise ideas which combine neuroscience, AI, and digital art. A jury comprised of members from each organisation will evaluate applications.
First up is the Muntref Centro de Art y Ciencia in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where the inaugural resident will spend up to six weeks, followed by a further six weeks at the Ars Electronica HQ in Linz, Austria. According to Ars, over 200 activities are planned in the next three years, covering conferences, lectures, concerts, labs, and of course residencies in a package co-funded by the EU’s Creative Europe programme.
The second residency offer will be at the Edinburgh Futures Institute, also accompanying a stay at Ars in Linz.
