Gemma comes with an absolutely impeccable background. Formerly a technology strategist at Ogilvy, she is a renowned public speaker, writer on a range of science and techology issues (including for this esteemed organ), and the co-creator of event and discussion platform Science:Disrupt.
As if that isn't enough, Gemma was longlisted last week onto Computer Weekly's 100 most influential women in UK tech.
Gemma will be writing and editing on the usual Imperica topics - essentially, the intersection of technology and creativity.
Her arrival also comes at a time when we are restarting our services after something of a lull (read: "The money dried up"). The magazine is now available to order once again, with a new, easy, order and payment system. Our coverage of the best of the web, Bricolage, also relaunched over the last weekend. Expect to see more on both the magazine and Bricolage in coming days and weeks.
