The Turner Prize has unveiled its shortlist for this year: Duncan Campbell, Ciara Phillips, James Richards, and Tris Vonna-Michell.
Duncan Campbell is nominated for It for Others, which features a new dance work by Michael Clark. Here's Campbell talking about his work at last year's Venice Biennale.
Ciara Phillips creates highly visual work out of workships with community groups. Here's her piece "Workshop", created and exhibited at The Showroom, London. @PhillipsCiara
The work of Berlin-based artist James Richards is nominated. From last year's Venice Biennale, it includes Rose Buds, a piece where he took photos of censored books in a Japanese library.
Bearded, baseball-capped Tris Vonna-Michell uses improvisation, projection, and photography for his work. Here's an interview with Tris from a couple of years back, talking about his recreation of Detroit.
The winner is announced on 01/12/14 at Tate Britain, which will also exhibit works from all four nominees from 30/09/14. Good luck to all.
